Member Organization Spotlight

Congratulations to the 40 Scholars from the Bay Area who were awarded a four year, full-tuition, merit-based leadership scholarship from the University of Puget Sound, Boston University, Lehigh University, and St. Olaf College! Each Posse, which consists of 10 Scholars, meets once a week in the virtual space until early August to engaging in conversations about identity, teamwork, leadership, and academic readiness. The idea is to build a strong Posse, a group that can support one another through four years, to successfully graduate together. We look forward to sending them off to campus this Fall 2021. Attention high school counselors and community-based organizations, if you would like to nominate a junior who demonstrates leadership skills, academic potential, and interested in one of Posse Bay Area's college and university partners, please contact the team at bayarea@possefoundation.org
